After the success of '7 venkels en frambozen’ with Willy Sommers in 2021, Lidl and BBDO decided to have another go at a musical tribute for Valentine’s Day.

Research shows that many people prefer their dog to their partner. That’s why Lidl wants to give our four-legged friends a special fresh treat this year.

Together with vets and nutritionists, BBDO & Lidl developed a surprising meat, fish and veggie dish for dogs. This way they too can enjoy a healthy and balanced meal. The recipes are available on dekeukenvanlidl.be/valentijnsdag.

To launch this campaign, we made a dazzling video clip starring our favorite show biz couple: Nicole & Hugo! The ideal match, because not only have they been animal lovers for 50 years, recently they also celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. In addition, one of their biggest hits 🎶Baby, baby🎶 will soon be celebrating its 50th birthday.

 They were happy to put their back into this project, and breathe new life into their golden oldie together with Lidl and BBDO. Perfect for our campaign, because the love for each other and the love for pets occupy centre stage.
