LIDL gets playful for Valentine's Day

Love is in the air… but so are clichés. Lidl dared to shake up tradition with fresh flavors, cheeky combos, and a whole lot of fun in the kitchen.

Valentine’s day can be predictable — chocolates, roses, the usual clichés. But Lidl sees love a little differently. This year, it’s all about keeping things fresh — literally.

With the Valentine Veggie Sutra, Lidl turned locally sourced fruits and vegetables into seven playful recipes with names like “The Sweet Missionary” and “Citrus Cowgirl.” Because when your ingredients are this fresh, experimenting in the kitchen comes naturally.

We brought the campaign to life across digital and social, Tinder ads, online video, radio, and influencer content, proving that fresh ideas — and fresh food — can spice up any love story.
